 | My squadron, Naval Air Station in Memphis, TN. March, 1976Our jobs were on aircraft and to work with LOX, oxygen lines, air-conditioning, ejection seats, canopy seals, life raft/ parachutes, minor riveting & body repairs. Was interesting. I liked sitting by the airstrip at lunchtime and watch them takeoff & land. |
 | I was at the Bronx VA Hospital from June 1976-July 1977. I occassionaly came home to my parents house for the weekend. Don't remember why my nephew & I were wearing these silly hats. |
 | My 'office' in the summer. I like to sit out here with a good book. Sometimes I even read it! I watch deer at the apple tree. Have seen wild turkey's, red fox, all kinds of birds. Sometimes I sit here and feel like one of the most blessed persons in the world. The wheelchair helps to keep me from feeling too guilty for doing what most people would not consider "useful" or "productive." |
