Dial-Up Networking Settings





  1. Left click on the Start Button


  2. Highlight Settings


  3. Highlight Network and Dialup Connections


  4. Left click on Enter.net.




  5. Left click on Properties




  6. Make sure that your local access number is in the box, including the area code


  7. Make sure there is no checkmark in Use Dialing rules



  8. Left click on Options


  9. Make sure that Display progress while connecting and Prompt for name and password are checked




  10. Left click on Security


  11. Make sure that typical is checked


  12. Click on Networking


  13. Make sure that Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is checked


  14. Click on the Settings button


  15. Make sure that all the options are checked




  16. Left click on OK

  17. Left click once on TCP/IP, then click on Properties


  18. Obtain an IP address automatically should be dotted


  19. Obtain DNS server address automatically should be dotted




  20. Left click on OK


  21. Left click on OK
