Dial-Up Networking Settings
- Click Start, then Control Panel
- If you are in category view, click Network and Internet Connections, otherwise proceed to the next step.
- Double Click Network Connections
- Right click Enter.Net
- Click Properties
- Make sure there is no check in Use dialing rules
- Make sure there is a check in Show icon in notification area when connected
- Make sure the local telephone number appears exactly as you would dial it on your telephone.
(7 or 10 digits depending on your area code) Please be sure to check that this is a local call for you. Enter.Net assumes NO responsibility for any long distance charges that you may incur in the use of any access number.

- Click Security
- Under Security Options, Typical (recommend settings) should be selected
- Validate my identity as follows: Allow unsecured password
- Under Interactive logon and scripting, make sure nothing is checked
- Click Networking
- Type of dial-up server I am calling: PPP: Windows 95/98/NT 4/2000, Internet
- Under Use these components with this connection:, ensure that Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is checked
- Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
- Click Properties
- Make sure Obtain an IP address automatically is selected
- Make sure Obtain DNS server addresses automatically: is selected
- Click OK
- Click Advanced
- Make sure Protect my computer and network by limiting... is not checked
- Make sure Allow other network users to connect through... is not checked
- Click OK
